BACKACHE - A MYTH?
From the age of 35, I had been suffering from acute back pain. Whenever the pain reached an unbearable limit, I used to have a check up with our family doctor. He would always make a sermon of advises on dos and don’ts, check my spine pressing inch by inch and would prescribe some strong painkillers. But I never had any permanent solution for this chronic disease.
Whenever I happened to travel long distances, the next day my suffering would start and that was a regular affair.
One day, my friend Joseph took me to his homeopathic practitioner. We went there to get the regular medicine for his mother, who was suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
When the doctor was folding and making small paper packets with the medicine. During that time, I informed him that I was suffering from persistent back pain that aggravated whenever I took long journeys.
I said, “Doctor, Can you suggest some good treatment for this never ending unbearable pain?”
He made some small inquiry and asked me to slowly bend forward and backward.
He said, “Do you have any pain while bending forward or backward?” I said, ‘No’.
Then he said, “You have nothing to worry about your back! It’s all due to something else. May be some kidney or intestinal disorder.”
The next day he made some simple tests and came to a conclusion that my unceasing pain was due to ‘colon or anal fissures’. A 10 days continuous medicine had cured my 10 year long, disease.
So beware, get diagnosed properly.
